In June 2012, The Australia and New Zealand Sleep Science Association (ANZSSA) released the new ASA Standard for Sleep Disorders Services. In August 2016, a revised standard was released.
ANZSSA is proud to have assisted the ASA and the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) in this important and comprehensive revision of the standard.
ANZSSA encourages all Sleep Disorders Services to seek this accreditation, as recognition of a commitment to excellence and continual improvement.
ANZSSA, in collaboration with the ASA and NATA is also committed to helping services work toward this accreditation, by providing formal and informal training and advice - and continuing to assist with accreditation assessments - as well as with future revisions of the standard.
